Now that we didn’t have any progress in our experiments, and the new biobrick was being found by our team members, then we arranged a communication meeting with the Hong Kong Chinese university. There were several teams there, and luckily we met guys from the Hong Kong technology university again and we felt glad that we could learn some experience from other teams.

Also we told other teams about our difficulties and got some useful advice from them. What’s more, the xylose inducible promoter which we did many experiments on was created by the previous team of Hong Kong Chinese university, we once wondered whether something was wrong with the DNA itself, so we lent some DNA from them, and they were very generous.
