Monday

Biology synthesis camp day2:

After spending these two days with the freshmen, we’ve realized that they’ve sure got a great passion for science. This is very comforting to see, as there is definitely hope for iGEM in our faculty!
Lastly, we’ve ended the camp with a lovely and memorable photo, goodbye and hope to see these familiar faces in iGEM soon! Go Hypnoseq~

Tuesday

Though there are still no results for us to put up, we continued the construction of the wiki webpage. We are now only THREE days away from the wiki deadline so we attempt to fill in the rest of the section as much as possible.
We are wondering how are the other teams doing so far? Are they also going through so many ups and downs like we are?

Wednesday

Helplessly, our experiment is still overshadowed by unsuccessfulness and there is not a single news from our pET11d group.
Something that sure brightened up our day is that we have managed to clone in our antisense into PSB1C3,YES!!

Thursday

We can FINALLY see some light and hope in the darkness of our experiment. pET11d is successfully digested and gave us a beautiful result : ) May the lord be with us~ Our competition is next week, may a miracle fall upon us!

Friday

To our bewilderedness, Asia Wiki FREEZES at 11:59pm, EDT! Time sure flies. It is only 02:00am now and our team members already feel brain dead. Working subconsciously with determination, the experimental group continues striving their best hoping that we are able to display some results as soon as possible!

Saturday

Since the wiki deadline is on Friday, we finally have some time to work on our poster and complete the rest of the experiment. We have divided the documental group into two, one half responsible for designing the poster and the other half responsible for the power point presentation. Tomorrow we are going to Taipei to attend a conference so we need to finish our power point by today!

Sunday

Today we will be attending an Investigator X iGEM seminar, hosted by INVESTIGATOR at Taiwan University. The aim is to let the iGEM teams in Taiwan to meet, gather and exchange experiences. We will be presenting our ideas on stage like a pre-run of our presentation –How exciting! This would be a very valuable experience as we are able to observe the other teams to see what they do and it also gives us the opportunity to practice for our competition.
