  • What we want to do?

  To modify the bacteria that it can boost the contrast of MRI image of tumor.

  • What is MRI?

  A popular imaging technique widely used in clinical environment.

  • Why bacteria?

  Bacteria is talented to find tumor.

  • How bacteria finds tumor?

  It likes tough region, like hypoxia.

We will attempt to create bacteria that can visualize tumors
on a MRI scan, without the use of heavy metals.
