Welcome

  • What do we want to do?

To modify bacteria so they can detect tumors and generate MRI contrast.

  • What is MRI?

A popular imaging technique widely used in clinical environments.

  • Why bacteria?

Bacteria are complex machines full of opportunities and apt to find tumors.

We will attempt to create bacteria that can visualize tumors
on a MRI scan, without the use of heavy metals.
