Project idea
The Imperial iGEM team plans to tackle the problem of waste disposal by exploiting bacterial symbioses. Waste disposal is posing as a big problem in both the developing and developed worlds. Despite the improving landfill technologies, the problem still remains and is having a big impact on health and the environment. Using synthetic biology, we hope that we can reduce pollution and clean up cities.
