Testing how thin we can pour our plates

Obviously, to develop clear pictures, we want our plates to have as little colour as possible. LB agar and the soy trypticase we made on the 4th are slightly yellowish in colour, but we experimented with pouring shallow LB and soy plates.

Both the LB and soy plates had some colour, but we decided they are sufficiently colourless for our purpose.

We also made some extra stock chloramphenicol solution to keep in the freezer, as many of our BioBricks are on pSB1C3 backbones.

Take me back to the notebook.
