Boolean logic gates are widely used in electronic circuits to build digital devices. As the fast growing of synthetic biology, a large number of genes which function as Boolean logic gates are used to cascade and integrate multiple environmental and cellular signals [1] . Baojun Wang et al, demonstrate an orthogonal AND gate in Escherichia coli using a novel hetero-regulation module from Pseudomonas syringae[2]. The device comprises two co-activating genes hrpS and hrpR, and a σ54-dependent hrpL promoter. The hrpL promoter is activated only when both hrpS and hrpR genes are expressed.

In our project, based on the hrp system, we developed a proportional amplifier. The device we invented has a input promoter induced by a certain signal or several signals and a output protein which can be what we want to express.
