Education: Undergraduate Biology student that got recently involved in Mathematics. (Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM)
Professional interests: Theoretical Biology, Molecular Biology, Evolution, Ecology and Complex systems
Can be found: Walking randomly, sleeping, talking, having some tea or coffee, at the movies, reading, nowhere.
If her career as a scientist fails she would like to become a hermit in the woods or a filmmaker.
Attributions: Her work focused on the development of the model and the design of the characterization experiments to be coupled with the model. She worked on the registration of the new parts and the content design for the wiki.
Andrés Ferriño Iriarte
Hometown: Cuernavaca, Morelos
Education: Undergraduate Biology student (Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM)
Professional interests: Molecular Biology, Genetics, Evolution
Can be found: Sleeping, in “Cuerna”, being hungy, reading articles for the project, watching WWYD, saying “otra dificultad”.
If his career as a scientist fails he would like to be a taxi driver
Attributions: He did the main theoretical framework of the project, he made the overall design of the system as well all of the individual parts and devices. He was in charged of the synthesis of the new parts and worked in the lab to build the devices. Head of the WetLab.
Gabriela Santos Rodríguez

Education: Undergraduate Biology student that got pulled into the dark side of Mathematics (Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM)
Professional interests: Molecular Biology, Theoretical Biology, Differential Equations, Mathematical Biology, Genomics, Proteomics
Can be found: In our school’s library, at IMATE, in Facebook, baking (gluten free), with her dog, looking for Pedro, in Flatland.
If her career as a scientist fails she would like to become a cook or pianist at Sanborns.
Attributions: She helped with theoretical research for the overall design and the model development. She was in charged of the safety of the project, and of all the fundraising, budgeting and purchases.
