When we talk about iGEM and synthetic biology,
we talk about dealing with E. coli and
DNA and all that... but hey! Isn't that dangerous?
Don't you get infected from E. coli?
Isn't genetic modification a bad thing? People might wonder.
This page provides you an insight to how safe synthetic biology is, and how fun it can be.
To let more people know, we thought that this should also be written in Japanese.
私たちは合成生物学の世界大会iGEMで大腸菌を用いて遺伝子組み換えを行っています。
「え！大腸菌？大腸菌って感染するんじゃないの？」
「お腹壊さない？」
「遺伝子組み換えとかヤバイんじゃない？？」
・・・ハイ、よく言われます。
そんな誤解を解くために、このページでは合成生物学の安全と、
合成生物学の面白さを紹介したいと思います。
