Meet the team

The team from NTNU consists of five students. bla bla bla

The students

Origin of replication: Ahvaz, Iran Academic background: Graduated in Molecular Medicine Responsebilities: Participate in Vesicle Isolation project Other interests: swimming, baking, cooking and making LB media ;) Funfact:

Origin of replication: Academic background: Responsebilities: Other interests: Funfact:

Origin of replication:Tehran, Iran Academic background: I got my bachelor in my home country in Physics Engineering-Plasma and my master in Medical Technology-Biophysics and Medical Physics at NTNU Responsebilities:Participate in Vesicle Isolation Project Other interests: Jogging, Reading, Shopping, Baking, Cooking Funfact:

Origin of replication: Bleik, Norway Academic background: third year of the 5-year Biotechnology mastersprogram Responsebilities: establishment of vesicle isolation protocole, primer design and making cupcakes for the team that one time. Other interests: swimming, hiking, making food, watching cat videos on youtube and buying/collecting pretty dresses that I almost never get to wear (all postive to the arrangement of a fancy iGEM-party with a formal dress code!). Funfact: I once ate a three course lunch with the King and Queen of Norway.

Origin of replication: Academic background: fourth year of the 5-year Biotechnology mastersprogram Responsebilities: Other interests: Funfact:

The advisors

Gabriel studied Spanish and Biology at UCSB, joined the Berkeley/UCSF BioE Ph.D. program in 2008 and Chris Anderson's lab in 2009. Gabriel participated in iGEM because it offered an experience at the intersection of biology, engineering, teaching, leading, and management.

Terry has a master's degree in chemical engineering from MIT and is currently teaching bioengineering at UC Berkeley. He hopes that by doing so, he will be giving students the tools that they will need to repair him when he gets older.
