Name Mirjam Groenewold
Duty Lab manager / organisation summer school
Background Bachelor in molecular biology, currently Master Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
Bio Mirjam is a second year molecular biologist. She decided to join iGEM after hearing about it already in second years of bachelor. She then already decided that once she wanted to be part of such a team. It is a nice project in which you can learn to set up your own lab and coordinate everything by yourself. In this team Mirjam is one of the labmanagers and knows what is going on in the lab. She is also organising the summer school held from 26-29th of August. Besides from the lovely study of molecular biology, she is playing cornet at Soli Brass Leeuwarden.
