Human Practice is an important aspect when taking part in iGEM. You can talk about your project for example with the public, pupils or experts who can be politicians or scientists who work correspondingly in the same field of science. It is important to seek advice from these experts to develop new ideas or optimize the existing ones. Because of this need of communication we organized a pupil academy, arranged a “Day of Synthetic Biology” with five other German iGEM-Teams, interviewed Dr. Falk Harnisch and invited him to our institution.
