Post-doctoral Research Fellow
Lizzy is a post-doctoral researcher working in Biosciences at the University of Exeter and is having lots of fun coordinating the Exeter iGEM team this year! Her research background is in microbial biochemistry, ranging from understanding bacterial respiration pathways to biofuel production in algae. Her expertise focus on molecular biology, microbiology and biochemistry – and she hopes to utilize these when helping the iGEM team with their project. When not thinking about iGEM she can be found doing crazy arts and craft projects with her Rainbow Girl Guides - and cooking nice meals for Paul James!
