In iGEM 2013, teams will participate in a two-tiered competition. Regional Jamborees will be held in October and the World Championship Jamboree will be held on the first weekend of November.
All teams must attend and present their projects at their Regional Jamboree and a percentage of teams from each Regional Jamboree will advance to the World Championship.
- Asia Regional Jamboree: October 4 - 6, CUHK, Hong Kong
- Latin America Regional Jamboree: October 4 - 6, Santiago, Chile
- North America Regional Jamboree: October 4 - 6, University of Toronto, Canada
- Europe Regional Jamboree: October 11 - 13, Lyon, France
- World Championship Jamboree: November 1 - 4, Stata Center, Cambridge, MA
