The isolated plasmid was digested with EcoR1 and Pst1 and run on an agarose gel. The presence of two bright bands: one at 1kb (pLuxR promoter) and the other at 2kb (pSB1C3 plasmid) after EtBr staining confirmed the successful isolation of our vector.
