check on your submissions

check on your submissions

With parts arriving at iGEM HQ we wanted to remind you to check on your submissions: see if your submission has arrived at iGEM HQ, and the status of your samples.

Don't forget that in order for a sample to be accepted by the Registry the part:

  • must have its sequence entered into the Registry
  • be BioBrick compatible
  • and be in pSB1C3
If a sample does not meet one or more of these criteria, then its status will be "requires exception"!

updated submission system

updated submission system

We've made some changes to the submission system that will give better feedback to users and help the Registry process new submissions. You'll see when your physical shipment has arrived at the Registry, and the status of your samples on an individual basis.

Don't forget that part submissions are due at iGEM HQ by your regional deadline. Parts must be BioBrick compatible and in pSB1C3.

uploading files

uploading files

As you continue to work on your wiki, be sure to upload all files (images, videos, etc.) to the 2013.igem.org server, rather than the igem.org server. This preserves your files for the future, and helps prevent accidental file overwrites with previous teams.

Permitted file types include: png, gif, jpg, jpeg, pdf, ppt, txt, zip, mp3, mp4, webm, mov, m, ogg, gb, xls, tif, tiff, and fcs.
