7.10 T7 Phage Pictures


I) Purpose

To see if we have mutated, pure phage from the CsCl gradient and mutagenisis

II) Expected Outcome

Pictures of pure, intact phage, potentially mutated phage.

III) Reagants Used

Prepared Phage, T7


IV) Actual Procedure

Gave prepared phage to TEM operator. We had one sample of T7 phage from CsCl purifictaion.


V) Results

Pictures of T7 Phage
We noticed large amounts of crystal structure and a low concentration of phage. In the future, we will use larger concentrations of phages and run another round of dialysis.
