Introduction

Short for logical genetic designer, LGD is a genetic circuit CAD that can present the detail information of the engineering bacteria and “calculate” the relationship of related parts based on our database.

Synthetic biology is a newly developed subject. It is based on the idea of electronic engineering. For example in traditional biology research scientists always have some trouble dealing with multitudinous and not well defined biology parts. Well electronic engineering seems to help a lot! However we came up with an idea of building up an on-line CAD platform of synthetic biology researchers. Then we build LGD.
