Today we were lucky enough to take part in the YSB Conference, where iGEM teams from across England and Scotland had an opportunity to present their projects and show us all what they've been working on. We were the second team to present, and although some of our presentation was not functioning properly (of course! Nothing's ever simple...) we really hope that we managed to get our project across in a simple and interesting way. We had some really fantastic feedback from fellow iGEM'ers, but we were equally astounded by some of the projects presented by the other teams. It looks like the UK is going to be sending more teams than ever to MIT this year; how could the judges not be amazed by the work that some of the teams are doing?

On a side note, if you would like us to send you a copy of our presentation or poster, send us an email at igem@ex.ac.uk and we would be happy to send them over!

And of course, we went to the excellent social hosted by UCL! It was a great night; we all loved meeting everyone, but a special shout out to Dundee, who definitely lived up to their "Fundee" name!

YSB1.0.

Take me back to the notebook.
