In developing our fungal toolkit, we cloned GFP and mRFP downstream of numerous promoters to quantify promoter strength in the style of Toews et al, facilitating future genetic work with basidiomycetes [1]. The fungal promoters employed included T7, ''PtrpC'', and A. nidulans PgpdA.



We are also collaborating with Wageningen's iGEM team to characterize their team's actin-GFP fusion construct in our chassis organisms.
