We found out that the competent cells we are using are dodgy.....Brilliant.
Flick and Adam did a 30 minute presentation to A-level biology students, talking about iGEM and biology at university.
Could not do the transformations in the afternoon as the new competent cells were not ready to use.
In the afternoon made liquid cultures of:
Cyan magenta and RFP.... (find out the specific plates when I go up in a bit)
