         Titulaire d'une thèse en physique théorique, il s'est tourné vers la biologie synthétique il y a plus de 10 ans. Il est internationalemet reconnu dans ce domaine. Il est actuellement directeur de l'équipe Bio-Synth iSSB, qui travaille sur la conception, la synthèse et la caractérisation de régulateur artificiel de voies biologiques. Il est également l'un des professeurs principales du mSSB (master de Biologie Synthétique et Systémique). Alfonso Jaramillo sera notre principale encadrant. Il a mené <a href='http://www.igem.upv.es/igem06/index.php?title=Main_Page' target='_blank'>l'équipe iGem de Valence </a>en 2006 et a participé à la supervision des équipe de <a href='https://2007.igem.org/Valencia' target='_blank'>Valence </a> et de <a href='https://2007.igem.org/Paris' target='_blank'>Paris</a> en 2007.

Il est actuellement un scientifique senior du CNRS, responsable du groupe Metamorphosys à l'iSSB qui s'intéresse à la génomique et à la biologie systémique en utilisant le Xénope comme modèle. Nicolas Pollet a également encadré l'équipe d'Evry en 2012.

Cyrille participated the iGEM competition twice, in 2011 with Paris Bettencourt's team (Nanotube's project, semi-final finalist) and 2012 Evry team (French froggies project, Best Model and Best Human Practice in the semi-final) in which he helped funding with William Rostain and Tristan Cerisy. Chemist by training and alumni of the École Normale Suprérieure he is currently doing a PhD thesis in metabolic engineering on yeast at Jean-Loup Faulon's group, in the institute of System and Synthetic Biology in France.
