DYT
Ingredients for 1.7- DYT medium
For 500 mL
- 2.5 g NaCl
- 8.0 g tryptone
- 5.0 g yeast extract
For 100 mL
- 0.5 g NaCl
- 1.6 g tryptone
- 1.0 g yeast extract
Continue to:
- mix in ddH2O
- add 5 M NaOH to adjust the pH at 7.0 (few drops will be enough)
- aliquot: add 3 ml to 15 ml tubes (about two thumbs high) cap loosely
- autoclave in a rack in a tub with at least 4 cm of water
- store at 4°C
