Tom Hickman from Exeter iGEM 2013
Tom is a third year Biosciences undergraduate. He has always been fascinated by biology but is keenly interested in the synthetic production of biofuels, which is the area of his 3rd year research project. His research project specifically involves experimentation to test and quantifying the activity of a synthesised alkane biosensor in E.coli. He grew up in Abu Dhabi but repatriated when he was 16. His hobbies include playing tennis and watching the Formula 1.
