Phage Purification March - April Notebook
Overview March-April May-June July-August September-October	March 15 - March 31 Beginning our journey in phage purification, we were excited to start running experiments immediately. However, our instructor Dr. Grose so wisely informed us that it is essential to begin any research by seeing what others have done first. The first few weeks of lab we focused on researching in the library. We reviewed the work done by others before us and found procedures that others have used to purify phage. The research provide a variety of avenues that we could follow and even a few procedures of purification that were written out step by step. Daily log Experiment Listing Presentation

-This marks the start of our small phage group! Although we are still on the background-research phase and not doing any wet-lab experiments, we are sure our work will be worthwhile. As Dr. Grose, our wonderful instructor, says "a month in the lab will say you a day in the library." After two weeks of hardcore literature search, we now have a clear idea of where our project is headed. And we are super excited to get started!
