About Our Team
Team BGU_Israel is comprised of thirteen outstanding students from ten different departments:biotechnology, chemistry, medical research, bioinformatics, information systems engineering, computer science, economics, politics, English literature, and philosophy. We are the first team from Ben Gurion University and the only Israeli team to participate this year. To get to know us personally, move your mouse over the picture above!

Instructor Founder of Avram and Stella Goldstein-Goren Department of Biotechnology Engineering of Ben Gurion University. Founder and manager of the Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells Research Center.
Dr. Niv Papo
Instructor Senior lecturer at the Avram and Stella Goldstein-Goren Department of Biotechnology Engineering of Ben Gurion University.
Dr. Omri Amirav-Drori
Advisor Founder and CEO of "Genomecompiler". Former post-doctorate fellow of Harvard University.
Prof. Lital Alfonta
Instructor Associate professor at the Avram and Stella Goldstein-Goren Department of Biotechnology Engineering of Ben Gurion University.
Dr. Roey Tzezana
Advisor Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Center for Technology Analysis & Forecasting at Tel Aviv University
