He is keenly interested in the microbial synthetic production of biofuels, which is the area his 3rd year research project is in. He grew up in Abu Dhabi but repatriated when he was 16. His hobbies include playing tennis and watching the Formula 1.

3rd year biosciences undergraduate Tom Hickman from Exeter iGEM 2013


Tom is a third year Biosciences undergraduate. He has always been fascinated by biology. He is keenly interested in the microbial synthetic production of biofuels, which is the area his 3rd year research project is in. He grew up in Abu Dhabi but repatriated when he was 16. His hobbies include playing tennis and watching the Formula 1.
