The Incredible Story of iGEM BGU

Welcome to Team BGU_Israel’s wiki page! We are a multidisciplinary group of 13 students with the goal of overcoming the obstacles that are stopping synthetic biology products from becoming reality. Have a look at our project , an autonomous, timed self-destruct mechanism for bacteria, aimed to eliminate biosafety concerns upon release to the environment, and our human practices outreach campaign, focused on understanding the source of public opposition and encouraging multi-layer dialogue.
