Buffers
Tris
- Tris is a common buffering agent and is short for tris[hydroxymethyl]aminomethane (C4H11NO3, 2-Amino-2-hydroxymethyl-propane-1,3-diol).
1x PBS
- 8.18 g NaCl (140 mM)
- 0.2 g KCl (2.7 mM)
- 1.77 g Na2HPO4 (10 mM)
- 0.24 g KH2PO4 (1.8 mM)
- Add. 1L dH2O
- Adjust to pH 7.4
TE buffer
- 10 mM Tris, bring to pH 8.0 with HCl
- 1 mM EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid)
