UT-Tokyo team

We transferred a plasmid: BBa_K934025 to UT-Tokyo team on July 31th. HQ couldn’t send the plasmid due to out of stock of the plasmid. So UT-Tokyo team contacted with us for taking the plasmid. The plasmid is our past part of iGEM 2012.

Kyoto team

We transferred a plasmid: BBa_K193001 to Kyoto team on August 26th. HQ sent the plasmid to Kyoto team certainly. Kyoto team tried to transform the plasmid from a kit. However, they cannot make usable plasmid. So Kyoto team contacted with us for taking the usable plasmid. The plasmid is our past part of iGEM 2009.

Participation in the exchange meeting

Japanese iGEM teams took part in a festival held in Tokyo University on May 19th. We shared each idea of each team for iGEM competition for the first time this year. Besides, we introduced the synthetic biology to the general public together.

Japanese iGEM teams held friendly meeting in Tokyo Metropolitan University for sharing ideas and opinions On August 25th. In this meeting, each team introduced their project to other teams, and afterwards further discussion of the projects took place between members of different teams.
