  • Elissa Liew isolated and characterised the DCA degrading Xanthobacter EL4
  • Jake Munro isolated and cloned the dhlB and dhlA genes from Xanthobacter EL4.
  • Deborah Rich confirmed the activity of these cloned genes.
  • We got the genes into a pSB1C3 plasmid and expressed them using parts from the iGEM Distribution Kit.
