<p>We were interested in the expression levels of <i>ydaO</i> under different conditions, which was our indicator for the “riboswitch” appearance. Of course, we also looked for other genes which could be of interest for our project.</p>

Two members of our team went to the iGEM Team Groningen to perform microarray analyses. With this approach we tried to identify novel c-di-AMP-dependent regulatory elements that control gene expression in B. subtilis.
