Achievements

  • MakerFaire Rome - We were invited to show off Darwin Toolbox in Rome and talk about iGEM and citizen science in synthetic biology. More on our Outreach page
  • Press: our project was featured in Wired following our presentation at the Rome Makerfaire. Since then, we have also been interviewed by the British Council.
  • Collaboration with CU Boulder - We initiated an exchange of ideas on affordable reagents and community protocols.
  • Created a working prototype - and now actively collaborating with the education sector in the UK
