Genomic Integration

Bliblabliblablou, we wanted to integrate some modules of our project into the genome. "Notamment" the gates with their recombination sites to avoid any inconvenient recombinations.
The AND1 and XOR1 gates are working with the same recombinases, so some parts of the gates are surrounded with the same recombination sites and a XOR1 part can be switch with a AND1 part….. Mon cul sur la commode à compléter.

We worked with the IBCG laboratory and with Caroline Schiavon who helps us with this integration part. She gave us the MG1655 strain that contain special integration sites with two plasmids that permits this integration.

If this strain had been used for our whole project, we needed this strain to be del(EnvZ) for the light sensors.

then for the integration, we have made the strain Strpto resistant.
