Overview

This year ZJU-China iGEM team utilize a special E.coli shell called bacterial ghost to make a wonderful application dealing with proteins. Our ghost kit helps researchers detect, purify and store specific proteins for all kinds of purposes. The kit consists of 1)Ghost sensor: A universal platform for protein on-site detection, 2)Ghost sponge: A recyclable method for protein non-denaturing purification, 3)Ghost shell: A safe capsule for protein activity-preserving storage.

 == Overview ==
-We build two devices this year - A ghost system by which detection for certain substance is facilitated and an elf system in which two sorts of engineered E.coli eliminate targeted herbicide Atrazine by extensive collaboration. The project dramatically revolutionizes the concept of detection and degradation of substance of interest. The applicable feature of our devices imparts o them a promising future to be virtually used in industry and agriculture. We are really excited to see the world becomes better because of us.
