<p style="font-size:16px;font-family:arial, sans-serif;">On a breezing sunny day,we payed a visit to Keqian Biotech Company.A manager greeted us,first of all,he led us to a small house,where we can see the whole process of how workers do they jobs in the GMP (abbreviation of Good Manufacturing Practice) workshop through the video monitoring.Then,we were taken to the lobby to have a look at the layout of the entire workshop,alongside the manager’s introductions to the principles of interior design and operational requirements.Finally,he gave us some answers about vaccine.</p>

Hence we thought for a long time and eventually decided to do this through the means of distributing leaflets.To prepare for this,we borrowed two booths,we printed the posters,we made the billboards and made hundreds of fans. On June 8th,we made every effort to capture people’s eyes and attentions,gave away our leaflets and fans,orally introduced iGEM with a video played on the laptop.At first,people ignored us a little bit,but inspired by our passion,people’s curiosity started to awake.That made it much easier for us to get to the next step.Beautifully done with it ! Bravo!</p>

<p style="font-size:16px;font-family:arial, sans-serif;">Right before you make a vaccine,you should know about the epidemiological situation and correctly estimate the benefits of it.There is no need to produce a a vaccine for a disease that has been almost eliminated.To produce a vaccine,we need a good strain to improve yield and quality,we need good technology of vaccine adjuvants.By the way,there is a huge marketing potential here in China.</p>

Making synthetic biology universal


Our team decided to participate in this competition on April,28th.It’s a little late,but it is the first time we take part in the international competition. Our first time!So we determined to make it shining, and introduce it to more and more people around us.


We had a group photo in the front door.


The manager gave us a description of the whole layout of the workshop by design drawing in the labby.

To go for it,we have to do some publicities. This time, our team has two main focus on the publicity .First, introducing iGEM to the students and the public, making people get familiar with what on earth iGEM and Synthetic Biology are. Second,when we finish our project,we want to show public what we have done and make them impressed.
