Monday

Now that our topic is finalized, we discussed our project’s direction as well as decided on the dates for our periodic meetings where every member should be present.

We also combined everyone’s forces and did a detailed research for our project. Research included deciding which plasmids to use, methods and protocols, safeties etc.

Once we find all the information we need, we would then select and combine the results at our periodical meetings.

Tuesday

Besides continuing to find more information that is related to our project, we have also divided our team into two main groups namely the “Experimental group” and the “ Documental group”

The experimental group is responsible for the entire experimental procedure as well as allocating experimental jobs to the team members. The documental group on the other hand is responsible for wiki design, all the paper work and keeping in contact with our advisors and iGEM headquarters.

Wednesday

Luckily, our team members have worked spontaneously and cooperatively together so that we could integrate all our relative information, in order to get our experimental design started.

Thursday

In todays meeting, we all contributed in designing our experiment so that we can give it a kick-start as soon as possible.

Some of us contributed in arranging the experiment, some in designing the primers and some in designing the antisense in correlation to our projects antibody and GFP.

Friday

Continuing what was left over from the day before, we carried on designing the rest of the experiment, primers and antisense RNA. We also filtered and searched for iGEM biobricks that is necessary for our project.

Saturday

After finding all the biobrick parts needed, we started to design the different parts for our plasmid map. These plasmid maps are then to be sent to the headquarters to be used as biobricks.

Sunday

Today the documental group confirmed the materials and E-mailed the headquarters for biobrick. After comparing various biotech companies, we started making phone calls to book the various kits.
