Collaboration

We have cooperated with many other teams and persons in the academic world:

  • iGEM Linköping 2013 debuted this year and we helped them with for example characterization of a construct (what construct). They hosted us in Linköping, and visited our synbioday to talk about their project. We have also had regular contact and given each other feedback.
  • SLU professor Stefan Roos generously gave us access to many lactobacillus strains and plasmids, and advised us throughout the project.
  • Slovenia iGEM 2010 gave us plasmids with genes in the carotenoid pathway.
  • Conrad et. al.. sent us a bacterial gene for Tyrosine ammonia lyase (TAL) from rhodobacter sphaeroides. Here is a link to their article describing its function:
Robert J. Conrado et al, DNA guided assembly of biosynthetic pathways promotes improved catalytic effiency. Nucleic Acids Research , 2012, Vol 40 NO 4, 1879-1889.
  • Professor Gerhard Wagner at answered questions about plasmid replication.
  • iGEM Washington 2012 gave us plasmids with genes for our work with saffron.
  • iGEM Trieste 2012 sent us a probiotic strain of E. coli nissle.
  • We also sent our chromoproteins to
  • asd
  • adsad
  • Thanks to all researchers and iGEM:ers for the help and cooperation!
