Human Outreach Summary

The Macquarie University Team had a significant portion of our project and time spend on developing our Human Practice/Outreach, by targeting multiple areas in the community in a variety of different methods. This page acts as a central hub for all of our aspects of Human Practice and contains a small description of the work. To learn more about our aspects in greater depth click on the headings.




Education

We aimed to teach a diverse group of students about synthetic biology and the basic principles of our project. To target these different types of people we planned different activities aimed at high school students and also university students




Open Day

Open Day attracts a wide range of people to our university each year, and we used this day to extend the knowledge of synthetic biology and our current project to the general public
